Community Projects are one of the primary tools which GHS alumni associations and individual alumni utilize to give back to their respective communities.

The G.H.S. Old Scholars 1960-1976 Steak Cook Out
November 14, 1998
This steakout was held to raise funds for the scholarship fund. This was the first major event for the newly formed association. The event was successful but the help got tired after the 7 am. to 7 pm. schedule wore them out. They recouped the following day with a sunday afternoon brunch, a little relaxation and old G.H.S. stories.

The Steak Out banner donated by one of the alumni attracted passers by on the busy avenue.
