The Government High Old Scholars 1960-1976
This site contains information and stories about the Government High School which existed at the intersection of Thompson Boulevard and Ponciana Drive in Nassau Bahamas, and its alumni during the years 1960 to 1976.

The association of old scholars from the Ponciana Drive G.H.S. Campus began operations in 1998. Meetings were initially held at the Shoal Restaurant on Nassau Street close to the old campus. Two of the first events were a church service on November 8, 1998 and a cook out on November 14, 1998. Several other events are in the planning stages including a cruise through the Caribbean within the next year.

The association was formed to bring together former students of the Ponciana Drive Campus of Goverment High, and to provide the collective influence of these alumni in productive community activity.

The officers of the association are diligently working to build a platform of events and activities which will benefit old scholars and the community in general.
