C.A.M.B.I. International Trade Seminar

February 7, 8 & 9, 1998
The Council for the Advancement of Minority Business Internationally (C.A.M.B.I.) will hold a seminar on "International Trade Opportunities" at the South Ocean Beach Hotel & Golf Resort, Lyford Cay, on Sunday February 8, 1998. The seminar begins at 9.00am, and will be conducted in conjunction with the Hannaian 1998 Winter Educational Conference & Retreat. In addition to the International Trade seminar, the three day conference will feature seminars on copyrights, trademarks, patents and other intellectual property topics, including "Negotiating Entertainment Intellectual Property Contracts". A workshop on Internet processes and stock investment strategies will also be conducted. Participants from throughout the United States and the Bahamas will be in attendance and a special Continuing Legal Education program will be conducted for attorney participants.
C.A.M.B.I. serves as a clearing house for information and trade leads on international trade opportunities for U.S. domestic companies, and Non-U.S. internationally based companies and agencies. C.A.M.B.I. operates a database and directory of such business opportunities, and provides companies interested in developing or maintaining international trade business opportunities with information necessary to compete successfully in the international marketplace. In addition C.A.M.B.I. provides certain types of technical assistance and consultation for its beneficiary businesses. C.A.M.B.I. serves as a support organization and liaison between the U.S. minority business community and the international trade community.
